The Conficker is set to active on 1st of april (no this is not a joke) many infected computers will start to call home to one of the 50.000 domains the virus writer uses to spread his new batch of commands to its army of infected systems.
Switching now to OpenDNS may help you to stop the spread in your organization and hopefully ends the side-effects a worm like this can cause. It will not clean your system but it at least stops it from carrying out its tasks.
